Classifying slot cars is an extremely difficult task due to the variety of models and performance. Many manufacturers are now producing specialist high performance cars alongside the more traditional (less expensive) models. There are also lots of cars that perform somewhere between these 2 extremes. Some manufacturers like NSR and Slot-it only produce high performance models.
